Releasing today is Amanda Coplin’s The Orchardist (Harper). Read her author interview here and more about the book in last week’s USA Today article. Hailed as ‘eloquent, breathtaking, and mesmerizing’ by numerous critics, this debut novel promises excellent prose, a story that delivers with a punch, and inspiration beyond measure.
Also launching this month, Medium.com, a new social media publishing and platform creator, that “…collects submitted text and images into themed collections so you don’t need a following to be heard…” from the makers of Blogger and Twitter. Medium.com plans to post by collections and themes. Just think an unpublished author could be featured beside a NYT bestseller author. Wouldn’t that be something? Maybe I’ll be so lucky!
