  1. Very funny Roxie. 😀
Although I am following and set to instant, your last 3 posts did not show up. But after you visited my blog, I thought I’d pop over and found that WP has been hiding your posts from me. Big hug. Ralph xox 😀

  2. So funny. Reminds me of the time I sent little catnip pillows in the holiday cards to people with cats. One friend asked me not to do that again. By the time he got home, his whole house was full of catnip and shredded mail. Gotta love them critters.

  3. Hilarious!
Actually, I’ve been thinking of you all day, Roxie: I’ve been agonizing over the direction of my second book.
As it stands now I have three distinct sections:
    1) Hotel stories featuring some of the good Lord;s most, shall we say, interesting creations? (Like people who attempt to conceal the death of a beloved family pet who expires mid-trip by storing the body in a beer cooler.)

    2) Travel tips, like “Don’t attempt to conceal the death of a beloved family pet who expires mid-trip by storing the body in a beer cooler. It never ends well.”

    3) Highlights of my family history, such as my grandparents’ encounter with a certain SS officer who escaped justice after the war by fleeing to Canada where he assumed he would be safe. As it turned out, he was dead wrong.

Between writer’s block and a lack of confidence, I find myself easily distracted, but I intend to forge ahead and submit something to you next year when the opportunity presents itself.
And I’m still engaged in my crusade to attract Ellen’s attention for my daughter, though that crusade seems to be dead in the water at the moment. But hope springs eternal, right?
    Be well, Roxie.
